The first time I started to deconstruct the wedding dress as a garment was in the 1998 performance “My Wedding Dresses on the Roof,” in which I showed perfectly non-functional, but nevertheless wedding-themed garments. Through the years and a variety of projects, I kept transforming the wedding dress’s function until I got to the point of creating something new and different, or in this case, interior accessories, whose names in Bulgarian were all words in the feminine gender.
