On the eve of March 8, the fashion designer and visual artist Assoc. Dr. Mariela Gemisheva gathers us for the finale of her exhibition Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter, which appeared as a natural extension of her machine project "Non-accidentally the users" (curator Dr. Maria Vasileva), who is also one of the boldest events on the art scene in our country in 2022.
But the Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter exhibition is a completely independent project of Mariela Gemisheva, which is intimately connected with her birthplace - Kazanlak. This is an exhibition that, according to the curator and director of the National Gallery, Mrs. Yaroslava Bubnova, "is both simple and complex, like a TV series. Everything is clear at the first glance, but it becomes terribly complicated for the second and all the following ones. it's usually clear who loves who, right? It is the same in our case. Mariela loves her mother Mrs. Eng. Donka Gemisheva, we love Mariela. From there, the intrigue gets more complicated, as it should be according to the preliminary partially written script.'
The Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter exhibition is arranged in one of the halls of the Dechko Uzunov House Museum and has already welcomed dozens of visitors since November 18, 2022. Spectators who meet with an exciting as a "serial" visual narrative, in which the meeting gives everything that seems to be Marila Gemisheva - a cocktail of spontaneity, emotionality, coolness, a lot of sweetness, even bitterness and of course - a specific an explanation in love that only she is capable of.
On March 4, 1:30 p.m., the finale of the exhibition awaits us, in which, together with Mariela Gemisheva and Yaroslava Bubnova, we will go through the individual episodes of this "series", which can also be thought of as a "confession" of one of the most colorful ladies of Kazanlak, continuing to this day to amaze the residents and guests of the city with her audience - her own mother Mrs. Eng. Donka Gemishev
