OLD FASHION FASHION 2010 /History of a personal wardrobe/

The team of FAC /Fashion Art Center/ Mariela Gemisheva will present a fashion collection of 12 unique silhouettes Old Fashion Fashion, season 2010 in an original fashion performance with designers Mariela Gemisheva, Jelena Kesic and Boyan Petrushevski.
The clothes will be demonstrated by only one professional model.
The collection is built of forms possessing the deconstructive plastic possibilities of the pleat. For this particular case, original, hand-woven pleats (бръчници) with antique value made of linen and wool are used in contrast with the delicate transparency of silk batiste. The stylistics of the collection is in the character of women with a strong presence and markedly different from the traditional way of dressing in the modern urban environment.
''OLD FASHION FASHION '' demonstrates the main idea of FAC for creating a fashion product, which can be described as - ''I LOOK AND I AM'', which means mostly be yourself through clothing. This idea is still difficult to realize in our country and only in a special situation and atmosphere. In this case, the presentation of original clothes from only one model in a specific mise-en-scène and choreography, with appropriate lighting and sound in the dramatic space of the theater, will offer a unique environment for presenting clothes by motivating the audience to their own original representation of personality through clothing. The uniqueness and short duration of the performance as a specific type of artistic media guarantees a unique experience for both the audience and the participants and authors.

FAC /FASHION ART CENTER/ Mariela Gemisheva
FAC is a center for fashion and art, where designer clothes and fashion lines are designed and produced, presenting young designers and their original ideas in modern fashion design and styling. The center works in cooperation with international designers, fashion forums, studios and galleries.
Currently, its own exhibition space /showroom/ for fashion events, exhibitions and presentations is being prepared. The future development of the FAC project envisages the creation of an information center /library/ with up-to-date information and professional fashion publications, as well as the organization of international workshops and master classes in fashion design. The main designers of FAC for the seasons 2008/9/10 are Jelena Kesic and Boyan Petrushevski
